Oh no! I missed the date to blog I wanted to blog yesterday lah! due to unforeseen circumstances :(
Anyhow, I just gotten my very first exam results from UOL! And I must say, UOL is not as simple as you think it so! It's real business, toughh ball.
Just when I was confident for some papers which turned out not as well as I've expected for 'dem to be so I must say the markers must have set very high expectations of us, students.
UOL is really a very theory and essay-based college, it matters how much you write and not just that but the depth of it. And that killer paper which apparently I did PASSED! :) I worried so so much over it and whined with my friends, thankyou two of you girls! Sorry you've gotta hear me whined so much, and I can whineee soooo muchh.
Been spending pretty much of these two weeks with Besty, this is rare because for the past one year, she has been burying and built her life on her work which apparently did built up some walls between us and that she's working and I'm schooling, that pretty much feels very different for me. Firstly, this is our first time when we went on seperate paths and I must say I was quite affected and depressed but then :)
Every time I'm out with her so much funny and real hilarious things just had to happen!!! AND IT ALWAYS HAPPENS ON ME. and some black thing had to happen on her. hahahaha.
So to celebrate Besty's official breaking free from her work, I knew how she felt how stressful she was for the past one yr and I know she really needed a real break she deserved!
When she gets serious business, it's real serious no joke!
I brought her to Riders' Cafe, one of the Cafe I've heard many bloggers raved about! And yeah, it turned out awfully good!!! THEIR PANCAKES IS A MUST-TRY!
As usual, took truckloads of pictures but shall leave the photo-bloggin' to another day when I've gotten 'dem sorted out and do a entire photoblog post :)
And so, I just gotta try to be funny 'cos the cab driver apparently dropped us off at somewhere 300-400m away from the Cafe and gotten directions from an uncle and walked towards the right direction downwards, and I was as usual whining about the sun, the weather and everything else. (oh how i used to love Mr. Sun) then I have no idea why i just unknowingly put up the 'I-WANA-HITCH-A-RIDE' thumbs-up which i had no intention to!
and apparently a pretty-posh car stopped right beside me and I was so shocked! hahahah. looking so dumb-founded, pretty stupid looking.
and there goes Besty's laughter behind when he drove off. he kept resassuring me and asking me to hop on it's fine (he thought we wanted to walk out) seriously, it'll take us two hours or more! haha, that's why he was sucha kind soul, didn't wana embarrass myself but half of my soul wanted to hop on due to the hot sun and his car... I couldn't resist the temptation not to!
Sucha beauty. but i was just 300m away -.-
aww~ so say goodbye! :)
I was pretty lucky and felt that there's still L.O.V.E
first time doing that and it actually works!! heh.
On another instance, which apparently just happened on Monday?
We were just exploring somewhere near Haji Lane, then I chanced upon a whole group or rather I must say it's a huge flock of crows?! which is apparently Besty's NO.1 HATEFUL!
I was so amazed and started screaming for Besty to look at it.
After 5 seconds, they all decided to flock off!!! Imagine like 20 more crows?!?! Flying right above your head? My immediate reaction was like... Hide behind a electric standbox -.-
LOOKING PRETTY DUMB AND HILARIOUS BUT I JUST DID.
Besty don't have to really seek shelter so she didn't look as bad as I did...
I looked so weird, like it's WORLD WAR 3 or smthg. lol!
Oh yes, and did I say we saw a hairless bird? haha! Besty says it's gross.
so cute and rare lah. seriously.. Ah Best.
And just happened yesterday, we boarded on a really ridiculous cab driver who didn't know his way to Marina.... Barrage! He told us the entire of Marina Bay + Raffles Place was... Marina Barrage?!?!?! I told him properly I wanted to go Marina Barrage that's why we board, and never did we know he didn't know his way at all and got scolded in the end, srsly.. if only we took down his car-plate number!
